Climate Reality Project

CRLCIn 2013 I applied to join the Climate Reality Leadership Corps. A grassroots global movement to educate the public about climate change, and to influence our leaders in Government and Business to take action on reduce carbon emissions, to limit the impact and extent of future climate change on the planet.

I was very privileged to be accepted into the program, and in May I traveled to Istanbul, Turkey to be trained on the science of climate change by The Climate Reality Project‘s founder and chairman, former Vice President and Nobel Laureate Al Gore, and a group of world-class scientists, strategists, communicators, and organisers.

I learnt how to talk with people about how this crisis affects them personally – and what they can do about it. I learnt to stand up to denial, press for solutions, and spread the truth about climate change to empower our leaders to solve the climate crisis. I also met with an incredible group of inspirational Climate Leaders from over 94 countries who participated in the training with me.

I am now able to present the latest version of Al Gore’s slide show made famous by the 2006 documentary  ‘The Inconvenient Truth‘, so if you are a business, school, or community group and want to hear an inspiring talk about how we can all participate in changing the world for the better then get in touch below.
